Crunchyroll launched on Nintendo Switch February 17, 2022. The popular anime streaming application can be downloaded from the Nintendo Switch eShop for free and has a file size of 110 MB. Crunchyroll is supported on all Nintendo Switch consoles, from the original to the OLED and Lite models.

In total, the Nintendo Switch Crunchyroll app supports 9 languages, from American English to Spanish and more.

Additionally, the Crunchyroll app on Nintendo Switch is rated T for Teen and includes “diverse content” and “discretion advised”.

Crunchyroll isn’t the only video streaming service on Nintendo Switch. A few other popular streaming services are on Nintendo Switch including Hulu, YouTube, Funimation, and PokémonTV.
All applications are free to download, but Hulu and Funimation both require paid memberships to access content.

What Other Nintendo Consoles Have Crunchyroll?
Nintendo Wii U (the Nintendo Switch’s home console predecessor) also has a Crunchyroll app ready to download, install, and start watching.
Nintendo Wii U Also Has A Crunchyroll App
The anime app for Nintendo Wii U released in 2014, still has service as of 2022, and details concerning the app can be found at the official Nintendo product page as well as the FAQs page.
Nintendo, however, has announced it will end support for Nintendo Wii U eShop purchases and downloads on March 2023.
The Crunchyroll app for Nintendo Wii U will more than likely cease working after the shutdown date.
