  • controllers
  • screen protectors (Nintendo Switch)

  • and more

GameStop is different from any other store that sells video games because it primarily focuses on selling games (the word “game” is even in its name).

You can expect to find a wide range of video games and accessories when shopping at GameStop due to this game-centric focus.

Customers can also buy used video games at GameStop for a lower price than new games, or sell their own used games for cash or store credit to fund future purchases.

The Product Replacement Plan covers product failure along with normal wear and tear defects, printing errors, and mechanical issues with the software.

The plan does not cover customer damage such as cracking or smashing the video game or spilling liquids on it.

Furthermore, the warranty costs $1.99 for $19.99 games and $3.99 for games 59.99 and up.

GameStop’s warranty grants extra peace-of-mind for a few dollars more and provides competitive pricing with other warranties.

GameStop’s Video Game Price Match Policy

As of 2021, video games can be price matched at GameStop in-store. The customer must show a GameStop employee the ad or website that includes the lower price. Price matches must be from local competitors and qualifying online stores.
