Netflix is one of my family’s favorite ways to watch TV shows and movies on any device. If you are like me, you may have wanted to watch Netflix on your Nintendo Switch console and wondered if the popular streaming app was available for Nintendo Switch owners.
Netflix streaming service is not on Nintendo Switch as of 2021 and there is no way to officially add Netflix to Nintendo Switch now or in the foreseeable future. Neither Netflix nor Nintendo has commented on whether the popular streaming app will come to Nintendo’s hybrid gaming console.
Netflix may not currently be on Nintendo Switch, but other video game systems and devices can download the application.

Is Netflix Coming To Nintendo Switch?
As of now, Netflix is not coming to Nintendo Switch. In 2018, however, Reggie Fils-Aime (the former president of Nintendo of America) did speak to Bloomberg publications about Netflix coming to the Nintendo Switch console:
As of now, Netflix is not coming to Nintendo Switch
“We’ve got nothing to announce right now,” Reggie said. “But certainly those opportunities will come in due time.”
This is the last official company response Nintendo has made regarding Netflix coming to Nintendo Switch.
Should You Expect Netflix To Come To The Nintendo Switch?
I recommend remaining skeptical of Netflix coming to the Nintendo Switch at this point. There has been no official mention of the streaming application coming to Nintendo’s popular hybrid console from Amazon or Nintendo.

There is always a chance the mega popular streaming app will appear on Nintendo’s console, and only time will tell, but it’s better to keep expectations low than to get one’s hopes up.
