Eight Resident Evil games are available for the Nintendo Switch. Of the eight, one is currently a cloud version only available in Japan while the remaining seven can be enjoyed in North America (and nearly every major region).

What Resident Evil Games Are Available For Nintendo Switch?

Developer Capcom has released 8 entries of its popular horror franchise Resident Evil for the Nintendo Switch: Resident Evil 0, 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, Revelations, and Revelations 2. Resident Evil 7 on the Nintendo Switch is cloud only, and only available in Japan.

Resident Evil 0

Resident Evil 0 is the prequel to the very first Resident Evil game and introduces unique item and buddy systems.

Resident Evil Games Not Available On Nintendo Switch

Although developer Capcom has released 8 entries of its popular horror franchise Resident Evil for the Nintendo Switch, a few main entries and spinoffs are missing.

Here is the complete list of Resident Evil games not available on the Nintendo Switch along with whether the game is a Spinoff or Main Entry title.

Additionally, the original versions of Resident Evil 1 through 3 aren’t available for Nintendo Switch either.

You’ll need access to the original PlayStation discs, PlayStation Classics digital versions, or various re-releases of the original trilogy in order to play them.
