Expect to fail stages and boss fights multiple times before eventually mastering each stage in the Legacy Collection.

The Mega Man Zero series continues the faster paced gameplay from the Mega Man X series but ups the difficulty to match the challenge found in the main series.

The Zero series are some of my favorite games of all time, and I still have trouble getting through them.

But the gameplay is fun and the satisfaction derived from finally beating a hard boss or stage full of traps after multiple attempts is worth it in the end.

The Mega Man ZX series is an evolution of the Zero series that continues to be challenging with new additions and features such as being able to choose your main character along with a semi-open environment world.

Mega Man 11

Lastly, Mega Man 11 is sold by itself and is a new entry that made its debut on the Nintendo Switch.

Mega Man 11 is a single game that comes complete if bought physical or digital.

Should You Buy Mega Man 11?

I recommend Mega Man 11 for fans and new players who want to experience a modern Mega Man entry in the long running main series.

Mega Man 11 is still a challenge like the original 10 games but modernized with high definition, 3D visuals.

Purchase either Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 or 2 first before buying Mega Man 11 to get a taste of the kind of gameplay you can expect.

Is Mega Man On Nintendo Switch Online Service?

None of the Mega Man games are on the Nintendo Switch Online Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) or Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) apps for Nintendo Switch.

The only way to play the original NES and SNES Mega Man games on Nintendo Switch is by purchasing Mega Man and Mega Man X Legacy Collections.

Part 2 contains Mega Man 7 from SNES as well as later entries 8 through 10.
