All 5 Xbox Game Pass Games Added For October 2020 (And 5 That Are Leaving!)

5 new games are being added to the Xbox Game Pass gaming service in October 2020.

Brutal Legend, Doom Eternal, Forza Motorsport 7, Ikenfell, and Drake Hollow will all be added to the Xbox Game Pass library starting October 1st through 8th.

Not all of these 5 games will be available on PC, console, or to stream to Android devices. And some games are actually leaving Xbox Game Pass in October 2020.

What is Xbox Game Pass?

Xbox Game Pass is a monthly subscription service from Microsoft that allows subscribers to play an ever growing library of games.

Xbox Studios games are added the day of release while titles are added regularly.

But just like Netflix, some titles also leave from time to time.


What games are leaving Xbox Game Pass in October 2020?

The following games will be leaving Xbox Game Pass on October 15th, 2020:

  • Felix the Reaper (Console and PC)
  • Metro 2033 Redux (Console and PC)
  • Minit (Console and PC)
  • Saints Row IV Re-Elected (PC)
  • State of Mind (PC)

You can also purchase any title on Game Pass at a discount to continue playing after a game leaves the library.

Keep that in mind.


What games are being added to Xbox Game Pass in October 2020? And which device can I play them?

As mentioned earlier, 5 games are being added to the Xbox Game Pass Library in October 2020.

  • 4 can be played on Console
  • 3 can be played on PC
  • 2 can be streamed to Android devices

The 5 new October 2020 Game Pass games are

  1. Brutal Legend (Console) (Oct 1st)
  2. Doom Eternal (Android and Console) (Oct 1st)
  3. Forza Motorsport 7 (Android, Console, and PC) (Oct 8th)
  4. Ikenfell (Console and PC) (Oct 8th)
  5. Drake Hollow (PC) (Oct 8th)

Each game must be downloaded to play on Xbox Consoles (Xbox One consoles/Xbox Series) or PC.

Games on Android devices use Xbox’s game streaming technology to play.

We’ve got the news you want to hear – including exactly when you can enjoy EA Play as part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Game Pass for PC. Starting November 10, EA Play will be available on console as part of your Game Pass Ultimate membership, and coming in December, Ultimate and PC members will be able to download and play games from the EA Play library on Windows 10 as part of your membership on PC.

This is your friendly reminder to make some space on your gaming backlog list, because we have a whole new collection of games coming your way. Let me repeat: This means Ultimate members can enjoy EA Play on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S (starting November 10), and Windows 10 PCs, and Xbox Game Pass for PC members get EA Play on Windows 10 (coming in December). And some of the best EA Play games will be available for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members to play on Android devices via the cloud.

Brütal Legend (Console) – October 8
Double Fine Productions cult classic action-comedy Brütal Legend is coming to Xbox Game Pass. Follow the unlikely adventure of Eddie Riggs, a humble roadie (voiced by Jack Black!) drawn into an alternate world of gnarly demons, fire-breathing beasts, and heavy metal music. Brütal Legend mixes hack and slash mayhem with huge strategy battles as Eddie and a band of stalwart heroes fight to free the world from a demonic overlord. Forza Motorsport 7 (Android, Console & PC) – October 8

Ikenfell (Console & PC) ID@Xbox – October 8
A turn based-tactical RPG about a group of troublesome magic students. Use time-based combat mechanics to power your spells and block attacks, explore the twisted halls of a vast magic school, fight challenging monsters and bosses, find tons of hidden treasure, and uncover dark secrets never meant to be found.

Xbox Community Game Club
The Xbox Ambassadors have kicked off the Xbox Community Game Club, designed to play games as a community, share awesome in-game moments and discuss experiences you have in them. Think of it as a book club, powered by Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass for PC. You don’t have to be an Ambassador to participate, just know you’ll already have some friends there excited about the months selected games to play there already! The October selection of games have been announced, so start your download queues!
