Today, I’ll be going over all 19 new Nintendo Switch game announcements from Nintendo’s Indie World digital event with details and trailers.
New Nintendo Switch games announced include the retro inspired Axiom Verge 2, the silly first person Slime Ranchers: Portable Edition, a Metal Slug tactical role playing experience, the surprising announcement of Tetris Effect: Connected, and much more. And many of these games are available now!

What is the Nintendo Indie World Showcase?
The Nintendo Indie World Showcase is a periodic video series created by Nintendo and uploaded to their YouTube account that highlights upcoming indie games coming to current Nintendo Platforms.
19 awesome new Nintendo Switch games were shown in this event including Tetris Effect: Connected and Metal Slug Tactics.

What are Indie games?
Indie is short for independent.
Hence, indie games are independently made games often created by smaller development teams that work independently from larger video game publishers.
Indie games vary in scope, graphical presentation, and style.

Definitely an homage to the Jet Set series from SEGA which is absolutely a good thing.
