Boss fights are challenging and satisfying to tackle, culminating in one of my favorite end boss encounters in recent memory.

Extra modes, online play, cooperative play, multiple difficulty levels, a sizeable free update, and extra downloadable content all add immense replay value to an already lengthy game.

Lastly, Streets of Rage 4 has some of the best 2D hand-drawn visuals I’ve ever seen and is accompanied by an energetic soundtrack. It’s definitely a high quality interactive experience to be had.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time with this gem. And fans of the brawling, beat-em-up genre can enjoy approximately 3 to 20 plus hours of gameplay in Streets of Rage 4 for Nintendo Switch.
